Economics is way too happy to dismiss research that is done by non-star researchers, and I’m not sure it’s a win for the discipline to dismiss an entire body of work for the exact opposite reason 3/4

It is obviously a matter of personal preference, but personally I believe the more talented people we have onboard, the better for economics *regardless of their affiliation* Ideas should be judged based on their merit, and nothing else Fin of my TED talk 4/4
