  1. Today is the last day of the campaign! The runoff was postponed from the end of March to this Sunday because of COVID-19 It was a great experience, I met a ton of great people Now it’s up for the citizens of Nancy to decide who will be their next mayor. Wish us luck! 1/5

If we win, it will be the end of a 40 years long system, where the city was run by the same group of people For all my life, they were the ones in charge The last time a progressive mayor ran Nancy was in 1945 We have a truly historic opportunity to make a huge change 2/

On a more personal notes, three things: - I campaigned *while* writing my PhD *and* crafting my first contract for my new business *during the worst pandemic in 100 years* - if elected, Mathieu Klein will be one of the few openly gay mayors of a large French city. Representation!

          - when we are used to live in a certain system, we sometimes fall under the impression this system will last forever. This impression is false. Systems don’t last forever. Politics matter. Politics is one of the key reason why things change. Let’s not forget that! 4/

In less than 2 hours, I will be legally required not to comment anymore about the campaign. My next tweet about it will probably be the announcement of the results. On Sunday after 18h (Paris time). So once again, wish us luck! And take care. 5/5
