    As emphasized by the AEA survey, measuring the lack of diversity in economics is a key first step to address (and hopefully, solve) this issue that damages both people’s lives (excluded because they are not white straight males) and our field (by wiping out a ton of great ideas).

        (I’m sorry I haven’t tagged every person who helped collect the data for this project. Space constraints, and I’m not sure to know all the Twitter handles – and I wanted to avoid missing someone. But you definitely have my full appreciation as well!)
