@johnkroencke No idea if it’s related but after the Hyper Casher shooting in 2015 where a lot of media did shit, they were strongly incentivized by the government and the public to restrain themselves during terrorist attacks. Like don’t call someone hidden inside to have info…Permalink

@johnkroencke Not everyone is doing it but a lot of media don’t give the name of terrorists anymore. And a couple of years later, the number of attacks significantly decreased. Maybe it now pays a little bit less to die as a martyr during a terrorist attack…Permalink
