            @pharristorm @unpoetaloco @CrossFit @BergerRussell « Immediate and blanket condemnation » is an understatement. I don’t say that all Christians are like this, because it would be insulting and patently wrong. But the most agressive, the less prone to educate themselves about what it means to be in a minority were Christians.

          @pharristorm @unpoetaloco @CrossFit @BergerRussell (In my experience I mean.)

        @pharristorm @unpoetaloco @CrossFit @BergerRussell I don’t ask for people to believe in my political ideology, like to accept gay mariage or whatever. But when the Red Sox flies a rainbow flag for one day, you should have seen the reactions. It was not a political endorsement or whatever, just a welcoming message for LGBT fans.

      @pharristorm @unpoetaloco @CrossFit @BergerRussell They say it’s a « sin », but they lack so many information on what they say is a sin. Where’s the empathy? And being empathetic doesn’t mean endorsing or something like that.

    @pharristorm @unpoetaloco @CrossFit @BergerRussell I’m also aware that some LGBT activists are especially aggressive toward people who are religious, and I think they are wrong too. Respect should go both ways.

      @pharristorm @unpoetaloco @CrossFit @BergerRussell That being say, as in my own experience I had the less respectful interactions with religious people, I can also understand why they assume (sometimes too quickly) that all religious people will welcome them with insults and names, and « preventively » strike back.
