@ChinelleU @matthew_wintle @Danelover @Petunia54321 @TODAYshow @Adaripp @craigmelvin @VP If I recall correctly the data comes from either the UN (or a related organization) or from a scientific research. @ChinelleU @matthew_wintle @Danelover @Petunia54321 @TODAYshow @Adaripp @craigmelvin @VP He also explains in the video that the reason why the U.S. has such a low rate of HIV+ people under treatment is due to the lack of a good healthcare system: medication is too costly and many can't afford it – and don't get treatment.

@ChinelleU @matthew_wintle @Danelover @Petunia54321 @TODAYshow @Adaripp @craigmelvin @VP People in the U.S. are actually pretty well tested – one of the highest rates worldwide. But it's the caring itself that it's problematic. Africa does a better job…

@ChinelleU @matthew_wintle @Danelover @Petunia54321 @TODAYshow @Adaripp @craigmelvin @VP So the problem isn't that people refuse to get treated, it's that even if they want to, they can't. The treated rate in the U.S. is almost twice as low as in Western European countries.
