    @bschne Isn’t it possible with symbolic links on Unix-like OSes? I think the link is preserved when the file is moved.

      @bschne Actually it’s not, symbolic links aren’t updated when the file is moved But aliases on macOS are en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Symbolic_link
