    If one condition to get a job is to literally have to read homophobic, transphobic, racist or misogynistic stuff, it’s a hard pass for me At the end, it’s just a job

      (I’m perfectly happy with my current career path. And if the EJMR trash think they managed to push another LGBT person out of economics, I have some really bad news for them. I don’t have an upcoming paper on them, but they won’t like what’s coming 👀)

        Luckily for me, I had good exit options Not checking EJMR wasn’t as large as a damage for me as it is for other, less fortunate people But when getting a job requires you to be exposed to this abuse, or to see your chances to get a job reduced if you aren’t, it’s plain awful
