A lot of these disorders can now be treated effectively. But you need a healthcare system that is accessible to see the effects of better treatments in the data.

@ArielOrtizBobea @Andrew___Baker It would also explain why the rate is going down in Europe At least in France, access to good mental healthcare has really improved in the past 20 years. It’s not perfect, especially for people who discover their disorder in adulthood. But the trend goes in the right direction.Permalink
