I'd rather rely on the traditional French method if the service was poor: make sure the waiter hears the passive-aggressive remark you made to the person you're eating with on how bad the service was, while smiling to the waiter

    @economeager @bradchattergoon @arthur_spirling It's a much less cognitive intense method than having to bring a culinary critique book and a manual of calculus
