        @johnjhorton It was a nice session! I agree when you said that wether we like or not, when we start to write code we’re becoming kind of software engineers. I think economists would benefit from having a bit of training in software engineering.

      @johnjhorton About virtual environments: I’m not a big Python user but I use renv extensively in R and it’s super easy to use. It works well if you incorporate Git in the process (packrat was a nightmare).

    @johnjhorton At some point you mentioned that you use your iPad and connect to your machine in SSH. Can I ask what’s your setup and workflow exactly? I’ve recently got an iPad Pro M1 and I would love to incorporate it in my workflow
