        1. I’m now convinced that Musk and his ego will negatively impact Twitter The economics of the sale were already questionable, but he’s now destroying the ads business And with the layoffs, who will be ok to advertise on a social network without any safety/trust teams left?

Ads represent 90% of Twitter revenues, and I don’t see how a subscription will be able to compensate for the loss of advertisers — and even less to increase revenues up to the point of profitability

Part of the debt is now on Twitter itself, with 1 billion $/year just in interests — up from 50 millions With stagnating revenues, this is untenable

The staff cuts are so severe that I wouldn’t be surprised if the app itself starts to crumble, dysfunctions or even collapse Twitter was already a fragile company and I’m not sure it can survives such a stupid and violent takeover

I love Twitter, I really love it, but I think the Twitter of yesterday is now gone I rely massively on Twitter professionally speaking I already had contingency plans just in case, it’s time for me to start executing them

I’m obviously not leaving Twitter, but my expectation that Twitter will survive the takeover has massively degraded

Of course I hope I’m wrong But so far, Musk has turned Twitter into an absolute shitshow and I think the worst is yet to come
