          1. I gave the new @SparkMailApp a try on my Mac but the UI is really, really not for me Now that Apple Mail can send emails later I guess I’m fully back with the stock app - which I never disliked to be honest

          I’m one of these "I want my Mac apps to feel I’m on a Mac" obnoxious knobs and the new Spark is completely foreign (the previous one was already foreign but to a much lesser extent)

        I’m not saying the new Spark is all bad and everything, it’s just an app that isn’t for me – and will never been, at least in its current form

      Considering it’s an Electron app, I’m assuming the likelihood Spark 3 will one day integrate with the new Focus filter is zero @SparkMailApp? I’ve been using Focus filters for a few weeks now and they’re just really good

    That being said, in just six months I went from using @PDFExpert3 as my PDF reader and @SparkMailApp for some of my email tasks to uninstalling both of them when @Readdle turned them into something else

      I left PDF Expert because of the new, complicated pricing model — I want a PDF reader that doesn’t require me to spend cognitive resources on wether I should subscribe to it or not

        And now I’m leaving Spark because there’s no way I can find myself in this new UI Sure, I could still use Spark 2 for a few months but in the middle run, I’ll need to switch to this new version anyway Better rip that bandage off ASAP in my opinion

          I was considering using the Calendar app by @Readdle but considering what happened to both PDF Expert and Spark, I guess I’ll stick to the default Calendar app (with a bit of Fantastical for some power features) These two precedents were not nice
