    1. This is one of the three main reasons why none of my newsletters are hosted on Substack — and probably will never be (The two others being their 10% cut and the fact they’re slowly building a closed platform and I don’t want to be there when they decide to leverage that)

    I obviously don’t blame anyone who’s on Substack, the tool itself is a good one and I have the technical skills to host my own thing, but considering that I can not be neighbours with transphobes and antivaxers and keep 10% of my revenues it was an easy call to make
