@estebanjq3 Only conjectures at this time but: - Le Pen did an under the radar campaign for the first round, downplaying the most egregious part of her program (which is almost all of it). Now the program has the spotlight and its fascism is way more obvious.

@estebanjq3 - Probably some left wing voters going from "I won’t vote" to "I’ll reluctantly vote for Macron" - Macron’s campaign is so far decent-ish. Not doing his best in terms of attracting these left wing voters but it could be worse imo.

@estebanjq3 On her platform, she basically want to bypass the Constitutional Council, rewrite the electoral laws in much more favorable terms, rule by referendums which is something authoritarian leaders used to do in France.

@estebanjq3 She also wants to forbid non-French people, including binationals, to work in the government — and overall limit their rights. We’re talking about 2 or 3 millions people. I’m assuming when people started to realize that, some of them went from "no thank you" to "I’ll vote"
