    1. I’m super open about how much I like R I work with it almost on a daily basis and it’s a joy But I also easily admit that the learning curve can be really steep – and discouraging for potential newcomers

    I sometimes spent literal *years* trying to learn R-related stuff that in retrospect shouldn’t have taken that long (and sure I’m kind of stupid but it’s not the only explanation) There’s a reason why Stata is so popular and it’s a *good reason*
