      And I’m not advocating on the substance of the underlying debate I don’t have an opinion, and in a sense I don’t really care But the *way* we communicate our disagreement is setting the tone for the whole profession, especially from people with such an audience

    I don’t need to remind you how toxic econ is I’m not saying we should always sanitize every speech, but we could probably try to do marginally better – and see what happens Just in case it’s a better equilibrium than the current one. Who knows.
