    The National Assembly voted unanimously in favor of the ban and the Senate voted 305 in favor and 28 against (mostly conservative senators – yes, I know, no one saw this coming)

      Basically they voted against the law because the ban also applies to gender identity – not just sexual orientation Some TERFs tried to campaign to exclude trans people from the protection, and it’s honestly quite a delight to see how little support they managed to gather 🥰
