      1. So a PhD in… economics obviously, just “criticized" the duration of my PhD after I told him I didn’t care about his opinion Some PhDs take longer than other. Weaponizing this to bully a PhD student bc you didn’t "win" a debate is a new low in terms of unprofessional behavior.

      PhD students are not the toys of senior people We have agency, and yes, we have every right to “not care” about somebody’s opinion – regardless of his professional status
