      1. One nice perk of being an economist in 2021 is that I can read a lot of US sci pol papers and not get (too) lost in the process I will even launch a French speaking newsletter about US politics and society next week (@HeureAmericaine) – with empirical sci pol at its core!

      (Yes, I am launching quite a lot of newsletters these days: @EcoSceptique, notes.osc.ac/ and @HeureAmericaine. I’d say it’s a silver lining of the pandemic: the time I spent inside made me realize how much I want writing to be at the core of my career.)
