        @benleo_econ @the_yushi 100%. Honestly the economic aspect of the contract was barely discussed in France. Naval Group is a strong company and they’re not in danger after the cancellation. What pissed people in France was how France was intentionally kept in the dark for months

    @benleo_econ @the_yushi Apparently Biden was completely taken aback by the way France reacted, and based on what I read my theory is that he trusted Morrison to send a clear message to France, but Morrison miserably failed to do so
