Baffled by how some of most eager to comment on politics seems to be completely oblivious that compromises are a fundamental component of *any* political decision

I’m not saying the result of such compromises is fundamentally good (I don’t see why it would be honestly) I’m just saying the need to compromise is a potent constraint and as such, it has non-trivial consequences on the set of feasible outcomes
