    @SamInLowerCase @elben But how does it translate at the individual level though? Especially among the vast majority at economists who are not in any sort of top institutions. And what kind of change that has a decently change of working should they engage at their level?

      @SamInLowerCase @elben In my experience (at a non-top institution), the questions faced by my faculty colleagues were really like how to get funded, how to get published and what kind of material should they put in their lecture

        @SamInLowerCase @elben Some of them participated in some government advising stuff, but for what I remember the advising committee was not just made of economists but also of sociologists, lawyers, historians and so on

          @SamInLowerCase @elben I’m really not sure the power of some individuals within the profession really extend to the rest of the profession, which in turn asks a (imo) really difficult question of social coordination
