        @SHamiltonian I get that nuclear subs are better suited considering the geography of the region but what I don’t understand is how cavalier the whole cancellation has been received by France The alt deal was negotiated in secret for months and the French were intentionally kept out of it

      @SHamiltonian For what I understand the deal was not just a deal with a true partnership. I also understand that Australia’s needs evolved. But why shelving the whole partnership *like that*?
