        @ZOEconomy @SarahJacobsonEc I am also wondering how we establish what econ is. Is it a method? A set of research questions? Who decide then? In my experience, this critique was mostly (if not exclusively) made by people with academic power/a strong scientific reputation

          @ZOEconomy @SarahJacobsonEc Most importantly, are we sure that we don’t deter scholars (including young ones) to do important work that would ultimately benefit economics with this kind of criticism? (Either by making them leave the field/academia and/or work on something else)
