      @koumenta_m @causalinf I wasn’t really arguing to incorporate history and institutions in econ analysis (I’m not even sure how it relates to epistemology and HET?) My point is rather that a small class is already a significant improvement compared to no class at all

    @koumenta_m @causalinf And as Scott argued, and I agree with him, there’s already a lot of content in PhD programs so we cannot expect to cover everything

      @koumenta_m @causalinf But having *at least* the sense that 1) econ does not appeared in a vacuum but has a history 2) what it takes for a field to be a science, would be an improvement to the current situation
