    The Basecamp debacle is really the conjonction of years of bad leadership publicly posturing as visionary, the fact that even small acts of racism are not accepted anymore, and the inability of powerful white men to address white supremacy even if they have good intentions

        I’m also quite convinced that the discrepancy between DHH/Fried’s books and how they behave internally was a major source of discontent It’s one thing to be a bad manager, but it’s even worse to be a bad manager in private and to posture as a visionary one in public
