  1. I started to collect press coverage about tech workers doing things against their management (public letters, walkout, unions, etc.) for the intro of the last chapter of my PhD like 2 years ago But I’ve never seen something like the current Basecamp debacle

      It is quite the spectacle to see a founder sinking his company in real time because he was uncomfortable when some of his employees were speaking out against some racist stuff that was going on for 10 years and now he don’t want to feel uncomfortable ever again

        He literally built his company’s business on his image as a thoughtful manager and he managed to destroy this 20 years long endeavour in literally two days You only see this once in a generation
