  1. I really don’t like when economists start to work on a different field and turn into arrogant pricks when they’re instead rediscovering the wheel But I also really don’t like when non-economists pretend to criticize econ but actually show how little they understand it

      The two instances feature the same issue: not having done a deep enough documentation/literature review work If you pretend to discover strong results in a field outside of yours, you better be super solid on your knowledge of this field
