@TradeandMoney You probably clicked the green button on the window. On most apps it turns them into full screen mode, and each fullscreen app has its own "Desktop". If you want to enlarge a window without making it fullscreen, you can 1) manually resize it 2) use an utilityPermalink

@TradeandMoney I‘be been using BetterSnapTool for years, and it has awesome window management capabilities. I don’t remember the price but it’s probably quite inexpensive in the Mac App Store.
