@jcbecker93 I sort of disagree here! I agree it’s fundamental to go after the hierarchies that cripple econ, but in this case to me it’s rather a matter of criticizing institutions instead of criticizing individual people (such as the winners of this year’s Nobel)

@jcbecker93 I don’t pretend I saw all the tweets criticizing the prize of this year, but some of them were really ignorant It’s not really a question of tone policing. It’s just that some of this criticism was (imo) badly argued and dangerously close to personal attacks.Permalink
