      @KevinMalogna I'm not really arguing against (nor in favor) splitting states. It's just that conceptually, redesigning the boundary of a political geographic entity to influence the outcome of a given election looks very much like gerrymandering.

    @KevinMalogna (Because the goal of splitting states is clearly to give power back to the Dems, which *is* a goal to influence the outcome of an election – even if in this case, the change is supposed to "correct" a discrepancy that favors the GOP)
