        @Econ_Marshall I’d say econ treats every "other" social science in a similar way I’ve been trained as an economist but I had quite a lot of sociology courses Everything Chris says about history is also valid imo with sociology, and I wonder for how many other fields it holds

      @Econ_Marshall On top of everything that is said about the climate, the structural racism, the hierarchy and the elitism, my take would be that we shouldn’t overlook how economists see themselves compared to other social scientists

    @Econ_Marshall And I’m not advocating for a drastic change of what econ is I’m just saying that if we paid a little more attention to history, sociology, pol sci, demography, urbanism, and so on, we would probably have had a more robust science
