      @ShellyJLundberg @rodrikdani I agree I also have exemples in mind of innovative research considered uninteresting when made by people in not prestigious places, but considered seminal when they are "rediscovered" by people at prestigious places. With, of course, no credits given to the first discoverers

    @ShellyJLundberg @rodrikdani And I’m not saying the second discoverers willfully decide to erase the first wave of research. But because this first wave is more likely to get published in lesser known journals, it’s just completely forgotten. The second wave just don’t know there was a first wave.
