    1. Remember this municipal election I am involved with in France? The first round was today and… we are ahead! It is the first time since 1945 that the progressive forces are ahead in the city. This is a historical moment for us – and for the city!

    In case you wonder: YES, the election was held *despite* the coronavirus I would have had preferred for it to be deferred to another time, but the decision wasn’t ours, and once it was decided to keep the election, we had to do our job

      The polling stations were organized to keep everybody safe, and at least in my city, it was well organized

        It’s still quite a bittersweet moment though, because everybody had coronavirus in mind, and the abstention was super high But the vote has spoken 🗳

          Now, we need a second round to finish the work and win the election. It was supposed to happen next Sunday, but we’ll see. The outbreak is starting to turn really bad over there…
