        @MartinSGaynor I don’t know. The SFI is almost the only US-based institution that funds ABMs in economics, even though they are interdisciplinary and fund much more than just ABMs.

      @MartinSGaynor When I attend conferences about ABMs I’m always baffled to see how little US-based researchers are represented And most of them (at least among the ones I know) are in small liberal art colleges, not in large research universities

    @MartinSGaynor That being said, the wind is slowly changing, especially in the UK where the Bank of England launched several funding operations toward ABMs and AI more generally
