    @MartinSGaynor I agree, but from my experience with ABMs the reason is endogenous: ABMs haven’t been funded well until very recently, and despite some really promising results and ideas, very little came through them because of that

      @MartinSGaynor To me, the underlying question is why econ is so reluctant to fund a promising methodology, whereas physics for instance funded very generously the string theory that didn’t produce anything meaningful
