        @ArielOrtizBobea The hyphen is a bit complicated because when two distinct family names were added, the rule was to use an hyphen But the rule has changed and nowadays it’s a space (but the change is quite recent, maybe 5 years ago or something)

          @ArielOrtizBobea Casanova comes from my grandfather, who was born in Corsica and moved to the continent after WWII But even if he was Corsican, he fully assimilated in Lorraine and I do not identify myself as Corsican at all – but as Lorrain
