@dclingi This is called rösti, it’s made of potatoes and it’s indeed fried! The cheese is melted munster (not muenster!), and trust me this is a very French! (Quite stinky but much softer in mouth) Röstis (or râpés de pomme de terre) and Munster are local products of the région LorrainePermalink
