Everyone is praising @Fastmail as a terrific Gmail alternative but after a year using them, I would rather call their service a shitshow It’s not bad, but when they screw up, they screw up really badly (in my case, with the anti spam…) And they are expensive too…
-
So now I’m looking (once again…) for an alternative… Does anyone have any suggestion? I tried Exchange 365 in the past, it was good but what a nightmare to configure… G Suite is not an option, neither @gandibar (already tried it, but their servers are often blacklisted)
-
I guess Exchange on @Office365 just shot itself in the foot, because cookies are enabled on Safari But I guess Microsoft doesn’t have enough ressources to make its product work properly with Safari privacy tools…
-
Btw I tried @spamdrain as anti-spam, but it was probably the worst service I have ever used Bad support, super expensive, their anti-spam wasn’t working well A model of under-delivering
-
So I just tried @spamsieve and it screwed up 519 emails on three Sanebox folders 99% of those emails are legit but if I train them as such, they will land in the Inbox. And then SaneBox thinks there were wrongly moved away and won't move them back into their folder
-
So now I have to refilter 519 emails one by one BY HAND in their legitimate folder A great evening ahead… FastMail anti-spam is bad, but fuck you @spamsieve
