          1. This is ridiculous The website crashed The iOS app is still not available for update And the underlying product is a pure money grab without any benefit for users This is absolutely not what I expect from Bunq @bunq/1199959164270850048

I would rather directly donate 99€/year to an org that plant trees For the same amount, they will plant much more trees than what @bunq is offering with this card

I’m especially mad at the fact @bunq only count what’s spent with the card itself, and not what’s spent on all sub-accounts with all the cards and SEPA transfers, to decide how many trees are planted That + the steep price tag is why I think this is a pure money grab

Just to clarify @bunq: the problem I have with this is not it’s a "feature" that is not for me. I can recognize a feature is a good one even if I won’t use it. But in that case, I just think it’s a bad product that completely miss the point of metal cards

The idea probably has potential, but it’s very poor execution I hope next time you’ll do better @bunq. I really do.

Another clarification: I haven’t turned on you @bunq. When you do good stuff it’s important to praise you for that, but when you badly under deliver I think it’s also important to point that out.

I will continue to happily use your service. I believe you have the best banking offering by a huge margin, and failing spectacularly to launch a new product don’t change that. Mistakes happen. My (harsh) criticism is intended as constructive
