    @cantstopkevin This is a great thread and I think you’re 100% right to point at the underlying cause (how grad school is organized). Only sticking to treating the symptoms when the underlying cause can be solved isn’t the best strategy imo.

      @cantstopkevin If I may, I have one observation and one question. - We don’t have a similar training in France (the two years of master are supposed to be a kind of training), and a PhD is already a really difficult experience for many grad students. I can’t imagine what it’s like in the US 😞
