I know it’s easy and kind of natural to project one experience as "the" experience, but maybe it’s not a bad thing to ask oneself how one’s experience "generalize" or not (It’s not an advice though. Just a remark or whatever)

So at the end, I think the go-to advice about grad school/career/whatever is probably "it depends" And "it depends" is a conclusion we know very well as economists So I’m kind of surprised that we are not using it more often
