      Thanks to private quasi-real time data, the Fed was able to estimate consumer spendings in major Florida métros when hurricane Irma hit in 2017, day by day Fascinating graph! (y axis: 0 is what would have happened without the hurricane, in %age. x axis: 0 is landfall day.)
