This tweet blew up, and it’s clear from various sources and papers that publishing in high profile journals is somewhat a skewed game If papers aren’t published in those journals because they’re good, it means load of good papers are published elsewhere.       For this reason, I am starting to reconsider which publications I should read or not, and more specifically which criteria I should rely on to decide what goes on my reading list and what doesn’t I don’t how exactly though, so feel free to provide advices if you have any!

        I also don’t want to ditch papers from top journals Sure, it’s not a fair game, but it doesn’t mean it’s a completely rigged game. Good papers are also published in those journals! My solely goal is to find good papers *regardless of their journal*
