      @benconomics I agree on that. I wasn’t arguing that everything is "rigged". This is not what I believe. It’s just the starification of economics and how academic prestige is given and obtained that baffles me.

    @benconomics I also share the belief that the paper and its contributions have to be good, and fill a gap in the literature. Those who ask for a scientific platform just because they have ideas are deeply misled in my opinion. Or at least I completely disagree with them.
