          1. Maybe the Hong Kong police has learnt from the French police? And I’m not even joking. The French police is heavily criticized for its violence.           Using police brutality to shut demonstrators off is sadly a tool not only used by authoritarian regimes. We shouldn’t forget that a well behaving police force is not necessarily granted. It is something we have to work for, as a society.

        If you can read French, have a look at @davduf feed. He’s counting how many people were injured or attacked by the @PoliceNationale during the Yellow Vests movement. Prepare to turn angry. Because @CCastaner and @EmmanuelMacron dismissed that excessive brutality took place.
