        @Christine_Cai27 @DinaPomeranz Except TSE, and to a lesser extent PSE and AMSE, most French econ departments will have a hard time recruiting someone with a PhD 1) from a "top" institution 2) especially from the US. It’s not my opinion, it is what I’ve been told by people in the CNU.

    @Christine_Cai27 @DinaPomeranz I think TSE is the only truly "top" school in France, and I agree they recruit internationally. But TSE is just 1 school over several dozens.
