I recently dropped @Google in favor of @DuckDuckGo, mostly bc of privacy (and now, also bc of @YouTube). So far, not only I don’t feel I miss anything, but I even think DDG is *better* than Google. Not being caught in a filter bubble is also great. You should give DDG a try!

3) Google always tries to "summarize" shit on their page in the hope you won’t actually click on a link but see their ads. DDG is much less inclined to do so, and it has an unexpected result: more accurate information. Why?
-
With DDG, you *have to* click on the link, which exposes you to the most authoritative information: the source. Whereas on Google, you’re exposed to how Google understood the source. Less noise, more accurate informations, better results.

Initially I thought switching to DuckDuckGo would be somehow costly. Not only it isn’t, but so far I think DuckDuckGo is a superior search engine.

Oh boy I’ve just found out about this feature, and I already love it! duckduckgo.com/bang
