@Christine_Cai27 @oagersnap I also would say the Chiracs were one of the last high profile couples to use « vous ». Expect on very narrow social circles, referring to your spouse with « vous » is pretty uncommon nowadays. It was more frequent a few decades ago, especially in the upper classes.
